Jill Prescott’s consulting in product design and recipe development has provided major American and French cookware, appliance, and food companies with innovative ideas and a solid basis on which to market their products.

She has designed a successful line of cookware for an American appliance manufacturer and has worked with major food companies in recipe development featured in their house literature and national ad campaigns.

Her training, experience, and commitment allow Jill to know what is legitimate in appliance and cookware design versus what is not.

Jill provides invaluable expertise in product development and marketing, following the simple but time-tested principle that a well designed product produces profit for its company. Her design, replacing the cast iron handles of traditional French copper cookware with longer, stay-cool stainless steel handles was adopted by two American manufactures to great success.

A poorly designed product, on the other hand, presents a company’s marketing firm with the Sisyphean task of supplying a sea of adjectives so a substandard product sells— to uncertain results. A copper-bottom frying pan with stainless steel sides may look attractive, but it in the end it is just an expensive pan that burns food.
