See Paris through the eyes of classically French trained chef, Jill Prescott. Jill not only trained in Paris but has returned 24 times working in restaurants, pastry shops and side by side with France's premier culinary artisans. . She has escorted groups to Paris on her famous wine and food tours since 1987! Jill will guide you through her beloved city of Paris , taking you to the best bistros, restaurants and bakeries with special visits to cookware shops, specialty food and wine shops, cheese seminars, chocolate tastings and a day trip to the Champagne region of France for lunch and a day of visiting Champagne caves and sampling the most famous Champagne's of the world.

Paris tour cost includes all tours, hotel, several dinners, 3 lunches and all breakfasts. $2,650. Excludes airfare and transfers. Tour groups are kept small to ensure a fun and educational experience.

NAPA VALLEY FOOD AND WINE TOUR

Jill Prescott invites you to the vineyards of Napa Valley to select, prepare, and taste local food with the keen sense of an artisan chef. She invites you to try her favorite wines and foods in Napa Valley.

In Napa you will pair wine and food, grill outdoors, and be a chef for a day by way of introduction to the region’s best artisan food and wine.

The stunning scenery of Napa, the wineries, participation cooking classes, and the organic producers of Northern California, are just a few stops along the way on the tours. Jill’s tours are a way of learning the vital lessons of what makes the best food.

SUNDAY
We will meet at a winery on the Silverado trail in the Stag’s Leap district with breathtaking views overlooking the Napa Valley. A special educational wine class 101 includes a winery tour, visit to the fields for a lesson on the viticulture of the vines, and a lesson pairing wines with grilled foods which will round out the first day.

MONDAY
Students meet at an Oakville winery for wine classes, tour and a picnic lunch.
Your host will provide a historical perspective on the Oakville Estate, explain Napa Valley's appellation system, and showcase several wine-growing techniques used in the vineyards. This comprehensive day includes four classes to learn more about the winery and what gives their wines their unique characteristics.

Class 1 The Sensory Evaluation of Wine;
Do you know that taste is almost entirely controlled by your sense of smell? In this in-depth sensory seminar you'll taste a variety of wines and evaluate the aromas of each one, such as citrus, fruits and spices. Your host will guide you through the experience of tasting wines like a professional and identifying each wine's signature aromas.

Class 2 Cheese and Wine Pairing;
Wine and cheese have been paired together forever. And with good reason. They taste great together. But some combinations are better than others. This is in a fun, round-table setting designed to introduce you to new wine and cheese combinations.

Class 3 Barrel Tastings with Comparison Tastings of French and American Oaks;
Students will participate in barrel tastings of wines held in French and American Oak.

Class 4 The Art of the Blend
Some of the world's finest wines are composed of varietal blends. Learn the magic that winemakers use to create this wineries proprietary blend that each year is the highest expression of our vineyards and the vintage. In this hands-on seminar you'll play winemaker, creating your own blend with five classic Bordeaux varietals produced from the Oakville Estate.

TUESDAY
Be a chef for a day in a beautiful Napa Valley Winery Afternoon cooking class. Evening free. Students will prepare a five course meal with matching wines.

WEDNESDAY
Sit back and enjoy the ride in an antique 1947 Packard convertible as we travel through the Napa Valley in style to five boutique wineries and a class and cave tour of one of the valley's best sparklimg wines. Enjoy a picnic lunch in a Napa Valley vineyard.

THURSDAY
Today you will be escorted around Napa Valley and Sonoma for visits to organic artisan culinary producers to olive groves, lavender fields, honey producers, organic vegetable gardens, and taste and learn about organic wines. Evening free.

FRIDAY
This day we will travel to San Francisco to the Ferry Building Famers Market and then to the Pacific coast to visit Jill's favorite fisherman, see his process of smoking and taste his fabulous smoked fish. Lunch at a coastal seafood shop. Farewell dinner at 8pm a Napa Valley’s restaurant.

Join Jill for a weekend food and wine getaway. You will enjoy two of Jill’s signature cooking classes; where you will prepare a five course dinner and the other, an elegant Champagne breakfast. You will visit Jill’s favorite boutique wineries , enjoy two participation cooking classes and have an evening dinner at a Napa restaurant. This tour includes two nights in Jill’s favorite Napa Valley hotel.
