KitchenAid Ohio
This is by far my favorite small appliance for home or my classes. I have recommended powerful 5 qt. Kitchen Aid mixers to every student that has ever come to my classes. My favorite model is the 5 qt, stand mixer with stationary head and the fixed handle although their new models are exceptional. My original mixer is 30 years old and has had a gear replaced twice. It was used non stop for breads and daily family meals and is still going strong. There are many overpriced mixers on the market nut there are none will do a better job than this model. We have other appliances as well as cookware from this company. There are many mixers on the market that boast about their product or companies that put their names on others products but there is none better than KitchenAid! KitchenAid is often copied but never equaled.

If we were to have but one electric tool in out kitchens this would be our choice. There are numerous exceptional attachments available to include grinders for meat, cheese, and even chocolate. KitchenAid has a pasta roller attachment that will replace the hand cranking and do the stretching which is the most tedious part of making pasta. There are also numerous cutters of pasta shapes saves a great deal of work in the kitchen. This is a work horse in the kitchen.

Dupont Corian and Zodiac Surfaces USA
My former school in Chicago had a combination of Dupont's Corian and Zodiac surfaces. These surfaces withstood the toughest use. Even my sinks were the all in one Corian rimless sinks. I blended several different colors and used both Corian and Zodiac in the same room. The effects are dramatic and exceptionally beautiful. We cannot say enough about how pleased we are with this product. This product is far superior to granite or marble as it does not stain or need to be treated. Combine several colors to make interesting patterns and color combinations. Make sure you check out their bathroom shower ideas as well! Jill suggests spending the most money on appliances and countertops in your kitchens as these are far more important than cabinets.
