WEB SITE INFORMATION COLLECTION
For each visitor to our Web page, our Web server automatically recognizes only the consumer's domain name or IP address, but not the e-mail address. Unless otherwise stated on our web site, we collect only the domain name or IP address of visitors to our Web page, the e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail, aggregate information on what pages consumers access or visit, user-specific information on what pages consumers access or visit, information volunteered by the consumer, such as survey information and registrations to events on the site and their related services or when requesting information via online email. We use SSL (secure socket layer) encryption for online payment collection for purchases of our own proprietary products and services, and Jillprescott.com mailing lists, We rely on third party providers for some of our products and services which may be featured on Jillprescott.com--the privacy policies of those sites govern the method by which they collect and use such information.

SERVICE PROVIDERS
We use other third parties as follows. We use dreamhost.com's announcement list services to provide blast emailing services on our site. When you sign up for the mailing list we will share your name, address and email address as necessary for dreamhost.com to provide that service. We use Cybersource to provide shopping cart services for purchasers of events and other items in our Events. When you purchase an event for yourself and others from the Events we will share your name, address, email address, phone number and credit card information as necessary for Cybersource.com to provide that service. We use Cybersource.com to provide secure credit card processing services on our site. When you sign up for an Jillprescott.com event or make any purchase on our site we will share your name, credit card number and expiration date as necessary for them to provide that service. In the case of Cybersource.com this third party service provided on our site is set in a user interface that frames the third party's site to “look and feel” as the Jillprescott.com site. Some users may come to the site from the url ecoledecuisine.com or creatingculinaryexperiences.com. All provisions of this privacy policy apply to users who visit this site by typing in that url.

USE OF WEB SITE INFORMATION COLLECTED
The information we collect from users of our event signups, mailing list, or contact page is used to create an aggregate demographic profile of our user base so that we can improve the content and services of our Web site and provide aggregate information to potential affiliates (no individual information is provided to any third-party without your consent). In addition, the personally identifiable information we collect from users of these Memberships and of our email newsletter, is used to customize the content and/or layout of our page for each individual visitor, for marketing communications via email including, notifications to consumers about updates to our Web site and services, to send visitors our opt-in e-mail newsletter(s) (if requested by the user), to provide users with the products and/or services for which they signed-up or registered which may include sending service disruption notices or other service- or product-related information via e-mail, and is not shared with other organizations for commercial purposes without the visitor's consent. If you supply us with your telephone number on-line, we will use it to contact you with information regarding your purchase, events you have taken, or with information regarding your inquiry.
